We are analyzing data collected from a project funded by the National Institute of Justice and designed to prevent bullying and enhance school climate in schools throughout much of the Southern Illinois region. We are evaluating the outcomes of administrator, teacher, and playground monitor trainings, and the implementation of an anonymous reporting system. This was a longitudinal study for which we collected school climate surveys completed by youth in grades 4-12, behavioral observations, and web-based reports.
Other projects in progress are focused on bullying, cyberbullying, and school violence among high risk groups.
